Galungan is one of the most significant and vibrant celebrations for the Balinese people. It marks the victory of dharma (good) over adharma (evil) and honors the ancestral spirits. The festival, which occurs every 210 days, is a time for families to come together, offer prayers, and participate in traditional ceremonies. The celebration includes elaborate rituals, beautiful decorations, and festive gatherings, reflecting the deep spiritual and cultural values of Bali. For Balinese people, Galungan is a cherished opportunity to reconnect with their heritage and express gratitude for their blessings. Yesterday, we celebrated Galungan with the children by making our own penjor and we had so much fun! 🎋✨
